Quick guide

How to use DZFreelance well

This guide gives you the essentials so you can use the platform properly, track your steps and avoid missing anything.

Understand your member area

Your member area is now organized to help you move faster. Each section has one simple purpose so everything stays clear.

  • Dashboard: a short summary with your availability, profile, applications and missions.
  • Help: useful explanations to understand screens, steps and best practices.
  • Applications: detailed follow-up of your applications with status filters.
  • Missions: your current and completed missions with tracking details.
  • My profile: your information, CV, public profile, photo and profile-related tools.
  • LinkedIn: the connection of your LinkedIn account if you want to use it now or later.
  • Referrals: your referral links and follow-up.

If you are a freelancer

  1. Complete your profile and CV with as much useful information as possible.
  2. Add your skills, experience, availability and up-to-date contact details.
  3. Browse offers, apply to relevant missions and keep an eye on your emails.
  4. When a mission moves forward, follow each step from your dashboard, then complete your CRA and invoices at the right time.

Keep your availability up to date

  • Use the My availability page to say whether you are available now, later or unavailable.
  • When DZFreelance sends you a confirmation email, you can answer in one click without reworking your whole profile.
  • If you are in interview or already on a mission, the platform can also adjust your status automatically.
  • Recently confirmed availability helps DZFreelance present you faster on the right opportunities.

If you are a company

If you are a company, a recruiter or a salesperson, you use the same company account. There is no separate LinkedIn-only account.

One company account for everything
  • Create my need if you want to publish directly on the platform.
  • Connect my LinkedIn if you also want to sync your LinkedIn posts.
  • Use both if you publish on DZFreelance and on LinkedIn.
  1. Create a need with a clear description, a realistic daily rate, duration and start date.
  2. Use your needs area to track proposed profiles, interviews and mission progress.
  3. Validate important exchanges quickly so the process can move faster.
  4. If useful for you, also connect LinkedIn to sync your posts from the same company area.
  5. Once the mission has started, track CRA, exchanges and invoices from your member area.

Best practices

  • Keep your email and phone number up to date.
  • Reply quickly to messages and notifications.
  • Describe your needs or your profile with simple, concrete and precise wording.
  • Check your dashboard regularly so you do not miss any step.
